Supplier Verification in Pakistan

Supplier verification in Pakistan, done in person before you pay a deposit. We check that a factory is real, capable and honest about subcontracting, and then we compare quotes and negotiate prices with the suppliers that pass.

The agent model

Why Supplier Verification in Pakistan Matters

ProQ Sourcing is a sourcing and inspection agent based in Sialkot. We do not own a factory or sell products. Instead, we work for you, the buyer: we find manufacturers in Pakistan, check them in person, and then help you negotiate a fair price with the ones that pass.

The risk for new buyers is not only fraud. More often, it is a real factory that cannot handle your product, or a trading office that passes your order to unknown workshops. As a result, the sample looks right, but the bulk goods do not.

Supplier due diligence closes that gap. We visit the unit, look at the machines and people doing the work, and compare what we see with what the supplier claims. Then you choose with evidence, not with photos.

Scope

What Our Vendor Selection and Verification Covers

Our supplier verification in Pakistan combines vendor selection, factory checks and price negotiation in one service. So you end up with a short list of suppliers you can actually work with.

Vendor research

We search our Sialkot network and wider industry contacts for units that already make your product type, whether apparel, leather, gloves or sports goods.

Business checks

We check business and export registration and the factory address, so you know the company exists where it says it does.

Capacity and machinery

We count machines, lines and workers, and we compare them with your quantity and delivery date.

Subcontracting disclosure

We ask which steps happen outside the factory, such as printing or stitching, and we note them in the report.

Sample-to-bulk consistency

We compare earlier samples with goods on the floor, because quality often drops when volume rises.

Price negotiation

For suppliers that pass, we compare quotes, break down costs and negotiate price and terms with you.

Process

Our Supplier Verification Process

Each project follows the same six steps. As a result, you can compare suppliers on the same basis.

1. Brief

You share the product, quantity, target price, quality level and market. We then define what a good supplier looks like for this order.

2. Research

We build a long list of possible manufacturers and remove those that clearly do not fit.

3. Screening

We contact each one, ask for documents and samples, and check their answers for gaps.

4. Factory visits

We visit the strongest candidates to see machines, workers, materials and current orders.

5. Quotes and negotiation

We collect quotes in the same format, break down costs and negotiate on your behalf.

6. Shortlist

You receive a written report with our findings and a recommended shortlist. You make the final choice.

Deliverables

What You Receive

At the end of the project, you receive written material you can keep and share with your team.

If you go ahead, we can carry on with production follow-up in Pakistan and pre-shipment inspection. That way, the same team follows your order from start to finish.

Checklist

Supplier Checks and Price Negotiation Checklist

Price matters, but only after a supplier passes the basic checks. Below is what we look at in each area. For a deeper look at working conditions and safety, see our factory audit in Pakistan service.

Quotes also need the same terms before you can compare them. EXW (Ex Works) means you collect goods at the factory, while FOB (Free On Board) means the supplier delivers them onto the ship at the port. This overview of Incoterms explains the full set.

Common problems

Common Sourcing Problems We Catch Early

Most sourcing failures follow a few familiar patterns. Below are the ones we see most often, and how verification stops them.

Trading offices posing as factories

Some suppliers show photos of a factory they do not own, and then pass your order to the cheapest workshop they can find. Because we visit in person, we see who really makes the goods and say so in the report.

Capacity that exists only on paper

A supplier may promise a delivery date its lines cannot meet, especially in peak season. We compare machines and current orders with your quantity, so you know whether the date is realistic before you commit.

Samples made elsewhere

Occasionally, a sample comes from a better unit than the one doing bulk. Therefore we compare the sample with goods on the factory floor and ask directly who made it.

Quotes that cannot be compared

One supplier quotes FOB with packing, another EXW without. As a result, the cheaper quote can end up costing more. So we rebuild every quote on the same basis before you compare.

Who it suits

Who This Service Suits

New buyers

If you have never bought from Pakistan, supplier verification removes the biggest risk before you pay anything.

Small orders

For smaller quantities, we find factories that are willing and able to handle your volume, rather than ones that will push you aside later.

Repeat orders

If you already have a supplier, we can re-check them, compare prices with alternatives, or find a second source.

Fees

Fees for Supplier Verification

Our fee is quoted per project and agreed in writing before work starts. It depends on the number of suppliers, the number of factory visits and the product category. So you see the full scope and cost before you commit.

Factory prices themselves vary by product, materials and quantity. Send us your requirements, and we will tell you what the project involves and what it costs.

FAQ

Questions About Supplier Verification

Verification

We visit the address, see the machines running and meet the people who manage production. We also check registration documents and the current orders on the floor. If the unit is only an office that passes work to others, we say so in the report.

Yes. Send us the supplier’s name, address and what they have quoted. We then visit the factory, check their capacity and claims, and tell you what we found. Many buyers use this before paying a first deposit.

Then we tell you plainly and widen the search. Spending a little more time on the right factory costs less than an order that fails. In addition, we explain why each candidate was rejected.

Pricing and negotiation

Yes. Once suppliers pass our checks, we collect quotes in the same format, break down the costs and negotiate price, payment terms and delivery. You approve the final terms, and we do not sign contracts on your behalf.

It depends on who arranges shipping. If your forwarder collects goods from the factory, EXW works. If you want the supplier to deliver to the port and clear export, ask for FOB. Either way, we make sure all quotes use the same term.

Not always. A low quote can hide lighter fabric, fewer quality checks or a later delivery date. That is why we compare cost breakdowns and capacity, not just the final price. Then you can see what each quote really includes.

Verify a Supplier Before You Pay

Send us your product, quantity and target price, or the supplier you want checked. We then reply with next steps and a written quote for supplier verification in Pakistan.
